The 68th Annual MRCA Conference
The Midwest Roofing Contractors Association or the MRCA is an independent regional roofing contractors' association organized to assist contractors through education and advice in many aspects of the roofing industry.
The MRCA has been a great source of technical and safety information, business forms, and professional networking in the past, however I have never had the opportunity to attend the annual conference until this year. This past week the MRCA held their 68th annual MRCA conference and expo in our hometown of St. Louis, Missouri and the schedule was packed full of events and educational sessions.
One thing that I really appreciated about the conference was that there was an educational session specific to women in roofing. Women in roofing usually have similar experiences and background and it is great to be able to make connections with other women in our industry. There were many other great educational sessions ranging from OSHA and roofing safety to insurance companies.
I am grateful that I had this opportunity to attend the MRCA conference and I would like to thank all of the sponsors and volunteers for putting everything together. I had a great experience and look forward to attending the 69th annual conference next year in Nebraska.
